Huichol Beaded Earrings
These colorful, beaded earrings were handmade by Huichol Indians of the Sierra Madre Mountains of Mexico. The Huichols are descendants of the ancient Aztec and number around 18,000.
The Huichol have a long tradition of beading. They make their beads from seashells, clay, seeds and other materials and use them to make jewelry as well as to decorate bowls, masks, and more.
Each set of earrings is one of a kind.
