Embroidered Vintage Banjara Computer Bag
This one-of-a-kind embroidered computer bag is made from suede and vintage banjara fabrics from india. It has a long, detachable, suede strap and dangling pom-poms. Each side has a different design. The embroidery is embellished with mirror pieces, pom-poms, and metallic thread. The inside has a zippered pocket.

This bag was hand-embellished by artisans from the nomadic desert tribe known as "Banjara", in the Northern Indian state of Rajasthan. The Banjara people are believed to have descended from European gypsies thousands of years ago and are sometimes referred to as the "gypsies of India". Banjara embroidery is characterized by vibrant colors and the use of objects such as vintage textiles, coins, pom-poms, cowrie shells, tassels, mirror pieces, intricate beadwork and many others embellishments.
