Our block printed clothing has been hand stamped in India with carved wood blocks that have been dipped in natural dyes made from fruit, vegetables, bark and plants. It is one of the oldest forms of textile printing and is believed to have originated at least 2000 years ago. It is a slow, handmade process that is very labor and time intensive so it does not lend itself to mass production. All of our pieces are small batch and eco-friendly. Very little water and no electricity is used in the process of creating our fabrics.
