Ramie is a natural fiber that is similar in appearance to linen. It comes from nettles and is also known as grass linen. It has a hemp-like, slightly scratchy texture.  

Ramie is a hypo-allergenic fabric with high breathability and moisture absorbency. It is also resistance to heat and washing, quick drying, and mildew resistant. It will soften with repeated washings.
